  • Expert knowledge in both asset-based and non asset-based logistics industry.
  • Serves on or chairs various non-profit boards or board-sponsored committees including Samaritan’s Feet, Appalachian State University College of Business, Hickory Christian Academy, and the Charlotte Foundation YMCA.
 

Robert (Toby) Tate, Chief Financial Officer

  • Over 25 years of executive experience in Transportation, Distribution, and Warehousing
  • Held executive positions at CMS Transportation, W & L Motor Lines, and CHTL Trucking
  • Expertise in truckload management and the operational systems necessary to support truckload management
  • Past Board Chairman and Athletic Director for Hickory Christian Academy, and active in coaching youth athletics

  • Extensive understanding of transportation modeling, having written or consulted on costing systems for six different transportation companies.
  • Educated in analysis and modeling with Masters Degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration.

  • 22 years of Executive Management experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation.
  • Held key positions at Menlo Worldwide Logistics, the Complete Logistics Company, Innovative Logistics, and ABF Freight Systems, Inc.
  • Experienced in managing multiple Fortune 100 clients’ supply chains from a strategic and operational level.
